Link has recently assisted the Royal Flying Doctors to deliver intelligent video management solutions and Axis Communication cameras to The Royal Flying Doctors airport in Perth Western Australia. The system was ultimately chosen to replace a Cisco Video CCTV System. The Royal Flying Doctors is an aeromedical health service for those who live, work or travel in outback and regional Australia.
Clarence Valley Council choses LINK
Link has recently assisted Clarence Valley Council, in the deployment of Milestone Systems XProtect Video Management Software, together with Axis Communications Cameras. In the past the Council had tried several other manufactures and ultimately deciding on the Milestone Systems and Axis Communications combination.
Link assists Councils Australia wide with technology deployments and management of such systems.
Cable Beach Resort and Spa chooses LINK
Cable Beach Resort and Spa is the only Resort in Broome Western Australia, this award wining situated on Cable Beach, has many international and local visitors and guests. The resort required a webcast HD video feed on their most popular bar overlooking the beach, so guests could say hi to their international friends whilst on holidays. Link was introduced to the project by a local weather monitoring company also that provided a combination weather camera on the popular beach.
Link is Awarded Moreton Bay Regional Council Safer City Surveillance Project
The third largest Council in Australia, The Moreton Bay Regional Council awards tender to Link to install IP Surveillance Systems. The project encompasses several areas of the Council including Caboolture, Deception Bay, Redcliffe, Bribie Island and Strathpine. The works include the installation of CCTV across multiple sites all interconnected via integrated and highly secure wireless mesh nodes.
The Gold Coast City Council chooses Link
Link has been awarded the tender for the supply and installation of Closed Circuit Television System including integrated services for a period of three years. Link’s locations and tender offerings as well as Link’s value for money in accordance with Section 481 of the Local Government Act gave Link the edge over our competitions. Link is well resourced and located to assist with any project requirement.
Clem 7 Temporary Traffic Cameras removed as the Tunnels open
Link has removed the temporary IP CCTV cameras from city buildings, traffic intersections and service locations. The cameras were operating for the 4year during the construction period. The IP cameras were originally installed across Brisbane City, in areas affected by the construction works. The cameras were programmed to send images to several locations.
212 Permanent CCTV cameras installed in the 6.8km Clem7 tunnels
The hi-tech automatic-video incident detection cameras monitor traffic flows in the tunnel, automatically triggering alerts from abnormal incidents. The AVID cameras will be able to pinpoint accidents, pedestrians, smoke or debris warnings.
Operators within the tunnel control centre or the BMTMC will then be able to assess the incident, before employing safety procedures.
Link installs for Brisbane Grammar Schools Lilley Centre- a truly integrated learning space
The Lilley Centre is Brisbane Grammar’ new integrated learning environment. Link installed a total solution for the building, including Mega pixel security cameras, a Dell Power Edge Server and plenty of SAS enterprise hard disks to support the entire Schools digital IP surveillance recording needs. The site is managed by a network of new digital surveillance cameras via a virtually integrated surveillance platform, this platform supports both analogue and digital cameras.
Queensland Rail and University Queensland Level Crossing Investigation Study
Link gets involved in a study conducted by the University of Queensland (UQ) tailored to Queensland Rail to investigate traffic behaviour around rail level crossings. Link supplied mobile real time surveillance cameras at selected level crossings in Brisbane. These cameras were self powering devices with an inbuilt recording and transmitting interface. Logs of videos were made using the cameras and data was collected by UQ and analysed for their study.
BrisConnections Airport Link Project uses Link
Australia’s largest road project The Bris Connections Airport Link project undertaken by an alliance company Thiess John Holland has selected Link as the primary supplier for all traffic management cameras for the project.
Link installs LinkCam for Brisbane City Council
Link has installed a number of mobile pan tilt and zoom cameras for the Brisbane’s Airport Link project to be managed by the Brisbane Metropolitan Traffic Management Centre (BMTMC) and The Brisbane City Council along with The Department of Main Roads.
The cameras are ethernet based IP cameras with a zoom exceeding 300x digital and optical, they are connected wirelessly and are controlled live remotely from the BMTMC.
